WMC Grant 

Grant Overview

The Wynn Medical Center Research and Education Institute (WMC REI) is pleased to offer community and educational grants to support health professional schools, non-profit organizations, and local community groups in their efforts to create a measurable impact through collaborative activities. Grants are limited to specific requested amounts, maximum up to $5,000 per award.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be an accredit health professional school, non-profit organization, or local community group engaged in healthcare education, community health promotion, or public health initiatives in the USA or Canada.

  • Demonstrate a clear and measurable impact through collaborative activities.

  • Agree to provide a final report detailing the completed activities and measurable outcomes to WMC REI.


Funding Priorities

Priority will be given to projects that:

  • Enhance health education among students, professionals, or underserved populations.

  • Promote community engagement and collaboration in healthcare initiatives.

  • Address significant health disparities or improve access to healthcare resources.

  • Leverage partnerships to maximize impact.

 

Application Process

To apply, submit a proposal including:

  1. Applicant Information:

    • Organization Name

    • Contact Person & Title

    • Address, Email, and Phone Number

    • Tax-exempt or nonprofit status (if applicable)

  2. Project Description:

    • Summary of the project and objectives

    • Request grant amount in US dollars

    • How the project aligns with WMC REI’s goals

    • Expected measurable impact and how it will be assessed

  3. Collaboration Plan:

    • List of partners and their roles in the project

    • List WMC REI as the grantor 

  4. Budget Breakdown:

    • Detailed budget explaining how the grant funds will be utilized

  5. Evaluation & Reporting:

    • Timeline for project completion

    • Plan for providing a final report on activities and impact

    • ​Follow-up protocols 

Reporting Requirements

Grant recipients must submit a final report within 60 days of project completion, including:

  • A summary of activities carried out.

  • Key measurable outcomes and impact data.

  • Challenges faced and lessons learned.

  • Any relevant supporting materials (photos, testimonials, publications).
